After checking in at Great Wolf Lodge, we were directed to the onsite gift shop, Buckhorn Exchange, where every guest is gifted a pair of wolf ears, adding a touch of whimsy and transforming them into honorary members of the lodge’s wolf pack.
As we checked into our room at Great Wolf Lodge, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that each member of our party was given a wristband that served as our waterpark pass and room key. What’s more, my husband and I had the option to link our credit card to our wristbands. This innovative feature added convenience to our stay, as we no longer had to worry about carrying and potentially losing our credit cards or a traditional room key. It was a relief to have everything we needed right on our wrists.
However, the staff at Great Wolf Lodge went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. When they noticed that the wristbands were bothering my twins, they kindly offered an accommodating solution. They allowed my twins to wear the bands on their ankles instead, which relieved any discomfort and ensured a seamless experience for them. I truly appreciated their flexibility and attentiveness to our needs.

Each suite is tastefully decorated and equipped with cozy beds, a private bathroom, and thoughtful amenities. The color-coding system allowed both us and the vigilant lifeguards to easily identify which rides were safe for them to enjoy. The life vests were particularly reassuring for me, as my twins are still too young to know how to swim. The life vests gave me an extra sense of security, allowing them to fully embrace the water park’s attractions while keeping them safe and afloat and ensuring our peace of mind.

They joyfully embarked on quests, searching for crystals and exploring the hotel with wide-eyed wonder. On another evening, we opted for the Lodge Wood Fired Grill, a welcoming sit-down restaurant where we could relax and enjoy a leisurely dining experience. The menu offered a variety of delectable options, from sizzling steaks to fresh seafood and flavorful vegetarian choices.
And, of course, we couldn’t end the day without treating ourselves to a sweet indulgence from the Bear Paw Sweets & Eats shop. Their delectable pastries, ice cream, and specialty drinks satisfied our cravings for a delightful dessert.
